Standard Features: Our electric model is available with a fully sealed 115V A/C brushless induction motor with a life span of 1-million miles, 180 ft. lbs. of torque, 60-90 hp (equivalent to 120/180-hp gas); Max torque 4200, max rpm 7500 Built-in. "Limp-Home" mode automatically reduces motor draw when battery gets low, Built-in "Hold Mode" will automatically hold car still when stopped going uphill or downhill Up to 150 AMPS of regenerative power returning back to the battery during deceleration. Available with 550,650 & 750-AMP Motor Controler, 50hp, 60hp & 90hp. Zero fumes & emissions, no need for fuel-tank, oil or water reservoir. You eliminate the need for fan-belts and air-filters, zero noise, no more engine vibration. No more need for tune-ups, in other words no more engine maintenance.
The 550 Spyder spanned a length of 141.7 inches with a 82.7-inch wheel base. It has a front track of 50.8 inches and a rear track of 49.2 inches. These two-seaters have an overall width of 60.6 inches and stands 41.3 inches in height, with a removable windscreen and convertible top. Porsche designed these cars for light weight, the 550 Spyder tipped the scales at 1,349.2 lbs.
